Arizona is on the verge of enacting a tough law against illegal immigration. The measure would make it a crime to fail to complete or carry an alien registration document. It would also allow police officers to arrest immigrants unable to show documents proving they're legally in the country and allow people to sue if they feel a government agency has adopted a policy that hinders the enforcement of illegal immigration laws.
Commentary:
This office fully supports the Arizona law. Protection and control of its borders are fundamental elements of a sovereign nation, plain and simple. Other states should follow Arizona's lead and begin steamrolling over any further so-called debate on this matter of self preservation by exercising their constitutionally protected local police powers to solve this problem on a local level.

Reason is finally beginning to prevail.
ReplyDeleteIt's racism, that's all it is.
ReplyDeleteSo then I take it you are also for the other side? Having feds on the micro level involved in every part of our lives?
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what the second poster said, racism.
"So then I take it you are also for the other side? Having feds on the micro level involved in every part of our lives?" What kind of reasoning is that? You are in favor of x, therefor you must be in favor of y, even though y is admittedly completely different than x. It's the job of the federal government to defend our borders. It is not the fed's job to micro-manage our lives.
ReplyDeleteMore law offices around the country should voice support for the Arizona law.
